We here at the show fancy ourselves connoisseurs of political buffoonery, having sat front row to so much of it in the past few years. That is why we are confident in saying, given the political news of the past week and the reactions from all sides to that news, that American political discourse has officially “jumped the shark.”

No one was immune from the political hysteria, as you'll hear. The left and the right were united in lunacy, with each side committing unforced errors over political nonsense.
