I don't even have the words to describe how monumentally buffoon-ish this is, but #bearselfie is actually a thing.

Let's let the NY Daily News describe this phenomenon that is thinning the "stupid" herd.
We've actually seen people using selfie sticks to try and get as close to the bears as possible, sometimes within 10 feet of wild bears," said Brandon Ransom, Denver Water's manager of recreation. Before it was closed, a bear chased a biker in the canyon.
Because Waterton Canyon has more than 100,000 visitors a year, its management is worried that these dangerous selfies would lead to a bear attack.
Recent months have made apparent that selfies with wild animals are never a good idea.
On Aug. 26, a California man was bitten after he tried taking a selfie with a rattlesnake. He was treated with anti-venom, but risked losing his hand.
A freakin' rattlesnake, people!
The NY Daily News also details another MENSA candidate that was injured posing for a selfie with a bison.
And to think - this guy with the eyes will have the same say in 2016 as to who will lead our country as you do.
