Bob Dorigo Jones is a leading spokesperson about abuses in the civil justice system and what we should do about them. For two decades, he has focused on educating the public about how families, communities, and job providers are hurt by out-of-control lawsuit abuse.

And he loves to razz me about being a civil litigator. Yep, that sure is fun.   Expect more of the same, as Bob is coming on to talk about global litigation trends that mean bad news for America.

Bob’s weekly radio program, “Let’s Be Fair!,” is broadcast by radio stations across America, including Eagle Broadcasting and the Midnight Radio Network. It also is featured on major websites, such as The Daily Caller.  

Now in its second year of reaching more than 25 million listeners, “Let’s Be Fair!” presents important stories about the impact of crazy lawsuits and a litigation-happy culture on our communities and families.

But perhaps Bob is best known as the creator and host of CFA’s annual Wacky Warning Labels™ Contest, now in its 14th year. Through this contest, which highlights the lengths to which companies must go to try to protect themselves from frivolous lawsuits, more than 150 million Americans learn about the absurdity of lawsuit abuse. Entries are sent in by people around the United States from which “the wackiest” are selected for final judging in July by a live audience on John Stossel’s national television show on Fox Business.

Bob is also the author of the bestselling Remove Child Before Folding, The 101 Stupidest, Silliest and Wackiest Warning Labels Ever.

You can also check out Bob’s blog, which hosts a continuing public dialog about the fairness and health of civil justice system.

He is a frequent guest speaker at civic and business meetings, bringing humor and wit to the goal of educating Americans about the vital importance of eliminating the perverse incentives that motivate some plaintiffs to file lawsuits in hopes of winning the “litigation lottery”.

Bob also serves as president of Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch (M-LAW), a Center for America partner organization. Prior to joining CFA and M-LAW, he served on the staff of the Michigan House of Representatives. He received a B.A. in economics and political philosophy from James Madison College at Michigan State University.

And sometimes, he sleeps at night.
