Mayor Fredo's MIsconception of Respect

It ain't the way I wanted it! I can handle things! I'm smart! Not like everybody says... like dumb... I'm smart and I want respect!
Whenever I write about the Mayor of the City of New York, I always write his former given name and strike it through to show the duplicitous nature of NYC Mayor Warren Wilhelm Bill de Blasio.  Even his name is a show.  By the end of this post, I'll have a new name for him.

 Fredo.

Monday, NYC Mayor Warren Wilhelm Bill de Blasio, broke his silence about the very public protests by New York City Police Officers responding to the Mayor's divisive rhetoric.  In full "Fredo" mode,  Wilhelm de Blasio thundered like someone who thinks he has the moral high ground.

“I can't understand why anyone would do such a thing in the context like that,” said Wilhelm de Blasio “And I think it defies a lot of what we all feel is the right and decent thing to do.”

The record, however, shows that the ground under  Wilhelm de Blasio is not high at all.  And it's shaky at best.  In case you've been living under a rock for the past 90 days, let's recap the "leadership" of Mayor  Wilhelm de Blasio, shall we?
