Behind Enemy Lines Radio is so pleased to welcome former UN Ambassador and former Presidential candidate ALAN KEYES on tomorrow's show!
Alan Keyes is an American conservative political activist, author, former diplomat, and a former candidate for President of the United States in 1996, 2000, and 2008 (founding and serving as the presidential nominee of the America's Independent Party in 2008). Keyes was appointed Ambassador to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations by President Ronald Reagan, and served as Reagan's Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs from 1985 to 1987.
Alan joins Gene Berardelli and Russell Gallo in a discussion of where the Republican Party goes after the midterm elections. Keyes joined fellow conservatives Phyllis Schiafly of Eagle Forum, Judson Phillips of WND.com and columnist Curtis Ellis in a common message: voters elected Republicans who promised to stop President Obama's agenda and arrogant use of executive power that ignores Congress. Keyes and these leading conservatives are strongly encouraging those newly elected not to "bait and switch" voters by now giving Obama sweeping new "fast track" power to bypass Congress, coming up with the "Top 5 Reasons" Congress should not give President Obama the power to "Fast Track Trade Promotion Authority:
5. The Constitution
4. The American people - and Conservatives - oppose it
3. It means more government secrecy
2. It neuters Congress
1. Obama abuses the power he already has - why give him more?
Tune in Wednesday at 10 PM on WAAR!
