Gene Talks Trump on 112BK

Last week, Gene appeared on 112BK on Brooklyn Independent Media with Emmy-nominated host Brian Vines to discuss the first year of Trump. The two had a friendly sparring session over whether Republicans were suffering from "buyer's remorse" over President Trump's election, as well as Trump accomplishments and what the 2018 midterm elections have in store.

112BK describes itself as "the only daily news and culture show from and about the country’s fourth largest city: Brooklyn. Both a broadcast and podcast, the half-hour program presents an intimate space for ongoing conversation about politics, social justice, activism, the environment, economics and the arts."

Though at first blush, the show may not sound like "friendly" territory for conservative thought, I always enjoy my interactions with Brian Vines, who is a consummate profession that has always been fair with me both on air and off.
