Often, liberal Democrats make statements that are just bold-faced lies. Who can forget President Obama's "if you like the plan you have, you can keep it" statement when lobbying to pass the Affordable Care Act. While lying to get what you want is certainly bad, the statements Democrats make that they actually mean are far worse.
First, take Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, who stated at a press conference last week regarding the riots taking place, "we also gave those who wished to destroy, space to do that as well." Rawlings-Blake got caught saying exactly what she meant - she was enabling the rioters to destroy property, ordered the police department to not stop the destruction, and set her city back economically. The reason? Doing so makes it easier to continue to pass liberal policies to keep the people of her city relying on the government. Shameful.
Let's move on to another mayor's gem of a statement, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. Back in December, de Blasio made the following statement that as a parent he has talked to his children and "trained them to be very careful when they have.... an encounter with a police officer." He did not say that as a parent he told his children to respect authority & follow the law because he meant exactly what he said - since his children are black and all cops are racist, they need to learn how to handle dealing with the cops.
And finally, the repeat offender of making statements that show her true ugly character, Hillary Clinton. There's the "what difference at this point does it make" comment during the Benghazi hearings, thus proving that Clinton did not care what caused the attack on the US Embassy and was tired of talking about it. There's the "I fully complied with every rule I was governed by" statement during her emailgate press conference, which meant she found loopholes to get away with only using her personal email while Secretary of State and destroyed her server so no wrongdoing can be proven. And one of my favorites, stating she wanted to "topple the 1%." Whether this is an exact quote or a summary of a longer anti-capitalism monologue, the message is clear - she believes in redistribution of wealth and wants to government to fix so-called income inequality.
Wake up America, and listen to what liberal Democrats are actually saying. Amidst the lies and false promises, these politicians actually say things that are appalling, prove they are unfit to lead, and show their true nature.
